Functional Medicinal Mushroom Part 3: Reishi Mushroom benefits
This type of mushroom commonly found and used in Asia for centuries in traditional medicine, even called "mushroom of immortality" have some great benefits either used in the powdered version or whole, here some of the positive effects:

The main benefits is helping the white cells and reduce inflammation overall
- Killing cancer cells
More studies are needed but the results in the publications so far (links below) are showing properties that leads to the death of cancer cells

How to consume it:
Powder versions from certified producers are the easiest way to have them almost daily by mixing a tablespoon to different drinks, depending on the brand you can find different dosages and uses. This can also be mixed with soups so it doesn't have to be just any drink.
The mushroom itself can be easily sliced and cooked like any other mushroom in stir-fries or omelettes for example. or even just roasted or dried on its own.

Apart from the high anti oxidant content this mushroom is also a good source of protein and low in fat, almost none, the powdered version is way more concentrated and is recommended to not use this too often limiting to 3 times per week and to avoid if taking any anticoagulants medications.
